Being a part-time hippie is one of my favorite pass times. I get to discuss the significance climate change, stress the importance of renewable energy, and wear some killer hemp clothing. But little did I know about the sheer number of organic products available until I visited the eco-retailer Nelliefay. After browsing their selection of products, I decided it was finally time to put my money where my mouth is... or at least my dogs anyway.
What does that mean exactly? I ordered an organic bone for my dog Stewart. That's right. These things actually exist as you can see from the adorable photo below.
So far, my pet Stewart has enjoyed his bone thoroughly. But fortunately he's never buried this one. Unlike real bones this 8 inch cotton bone comes with a built in squeaker and since its made from cotton it's very gentle on his teeth.
Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and so is Stewart. If you're into preserving our ecosystem and are also a dog owner, I'd suggest dropping the 13 bones it costs to order.
